Investment in Capital Market in Indonesia from the Perspective of Sharia Economic Law
Keywords:
Capital Market, Investment, ShariaAbstract
The capital market was developed to accommodate the needs of Muslims in Indonesia who want to invest in capital market products in accordance with Sharia principles because in the modern era like today, everyone is required to prepare themselves amidst the rapid technological leaps. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection method used in this study uses secondary data, namely journals, books, official websites that have clear credibility. These changes have changed people's lifestyles, which were previously manual, shifting to an all-online system. Likewise with investment, where people are invited to set aside some of their income (saved) so that they can be enjoyed in the future. Many considerations for investors to invest their funds are the issue of the halalness of the investment product. With the development of Sharia investment products in the Indonesian capital market, it is hoped that the Indonesian capital market can become a market that can attract investors who invest in accordance with Islamic teachings. In Islam, investment activities can be categorized as Muamalah activities. Transactions in the capital market according to Sharia law are not prohibited and are permitted as long as there are no transactions that conflict with Sharia such as transactions containing elements of interest and usury and also prohibiting transactions containing speculation and containing elements of gharar or uncertainty.
